Work
For one of our clients we are looking for foremen in cleaning. This company is located in the Rotterdam Waalhaven, within the beating heart of industry. At this company, waste is sorted and processed into fuel or raw materials. This is what they have been doing for almost 30 years.
Over 600 colleagues work at this company, spread across several offices and production and sorting locations throughout Europe. They can already count many internationally operating multinationals among their customers. They expect to grow into a global player in this field in the coming years. The company is rapidly growing and developing and that offers great opportunities for you.
As cooperating foreman at this waste processing company in Rotterdam Waalhaven, you will get the best out of your team. You manage, lead and ensure that all cleaning activities are carried out properly and thoroughly. You make the planning, you solve problems and you also make sure that the factory stays neat and clean. So cleaning activities are also part of your duties.
So shoveling and sweeping, cleaning the machinery, dry cleaning or machine cleaning: you like to roll up your sleeves.
Working days and times:
- Monday to Friday in the day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- You will work a maximum of 5 days a week.
- What does QPS Works have to offer you?
- A salary of € 16,13 to € 20,41 gross per hour. Weekend work is well rewarded: on Saturday you get paid 150% and on Sunday even 200%.

What do you bring?
- You speak and understand Dutch and English.
- You are able to address people in a pleasant and clear way and you have good leadership qualities.
- You live in Rotterdam or in the immediate vicinity and can get to the Waalhaven plant independently.
- No car? No problem. You may be able to make use of our car scheme, we will be happy to tell you more about it.
- You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one through us.
- You can work with personal protective equipment such as a mask or respirator.
